Captain America inspired dress by AcidDaisy Captain America inspired dress by AcidDaisy
First idea was to make it close to “director of S.H.I.E.L.D." uniform, but I saw photos from "Captain America 2" shooting and decided to fix design.
It's very comfortable and not too flashy: I can wear it at work. (without shield of course)
Sewn and painted by me. (I can submit painting tutorial if someone wants)

P.S.: this shield is old and failed one. Just for background and ect.

P.P.S.: painting tutorial submitted! aciddaisy.deviantart.com/art/V…

Did you use a pattern for the dress?

Yes, I've used pattern from "burda" magasine. But there was 3 steps of fitting for my body.

Really cool, I like your design a lot. It's subdued and tasteful without the shield, but really carries the look when you add it in. If you wanted to accentuate the 'soldier' feel to it you could add a darker belt with some pouches etc to really sell it.
